Hey Beauties!
If you're reading my blog for a while, you might have guessed it, that I really like highlighters. Can't remember exactly, when I got so into using them, but I sure don't do a makeup look without using one. So instead of usual reviews and makeup looks, I decided to share what highlighters are in my collection. They are all very affordable. Some are unfortunately not available, because they were part of Limited Editions.
Essence Crystalliced liquid highlighter
This is a cool blue toned white liquid highlighter. It's not as liquid as the name suggests. It comes out more as a mousse or a cream. It doesn't seem to dry on the skin at all. It's a great highlighter for a cool skin tones that like that stark highlighter look and a very creamy product. The shimmer in it is very small, but the product is extremely pigmented, which means half of pump is more than enough.
L'Oreal Lumi Magique Pure Light Primer
Technically, this is a primer, but I use it as a highlighter. You can mix it with foundation and get that glowy look. If you put in on the foundation, it works great as a very subtle highlighter. It's warm champagne based white liquid highlighter. The shimmer is so tiny, that is practically invisible. It's also not highly pigmented, which means it's more sheerer than most of the others. It dries down nicely.
Essence Soo Glow! cream to powder highlighter in 10 Look On The Bright Side
This is warm yellow based white cream to powder highlighter. It's more of a champagne color and has very small gold shimmer. It dries to a nice powder finish. It is pretty pigmented, but can be build it up as much as you like. It's a very easy on the go highlighter.

Catrice Prime And Fine Highlighting Powder For a Luminous Glow in 010 Fairy Dust
It's a powder highlighter, which look very pink in the packaging. If you look from the side, it has a very gold sheen on top of the rose powder. If you apply it very light and very sheer, you get small gold shimmer, no base. It just looks like a transparent gold shimmer. If you apply on too much, you get rose base with a gold shimmer. It's kind of a weird shade in my opinion. It's very gold and it looks the best, when it's applied extremely sheer. It's also very sheer in pigmentation, which means very subtle highlighter - not my kind.
Essence Metal Glam highlighter powder in 01 Gold Digger
This is one of my favorite highlighters. It's warm gold based champagne color and it's a very nice powder texture. It definitely has that metallic finish to it, which means very pigmented and very in-your-face. The shimmer in it is very small. I love it because of the shade, which will appeal and look good on many skin types. I wish this one would be in their permanent range. Can't see why it's not, because it's an amazing highlighter.

Terra Naturi Shimmer Powder Body & Face in 01 Golden Highlight
This is also one of my favorite highlighters. It's powder and a lot more golden than Metalic Glam. I think it could be used as a highlighting bronzer on fair skin. It's more orange based gold with very tiny shimmer. It's definitely not as bold as Metal Glam, but it's also a lot darker. Every product is different, because of it's marble pattern. So, if you buy the on with more white, it will be lighter. Like this one from Jana here. It's a very nice powder formula and I love the marbled effect.
