My Frostgrave Apprentice is now ready for action. The model is from Hasslefree Miniatures, and goes by the name Miranda. I bought this mini years ago because I thought it was an awesome sculpt but really had no reason to use it... before now that is.

I thought this model would make an excellent Illusionists apprentice, barefoot with a little to protect her from the cold of Frostgrave, no weapons for protection. She is obviously not what she seems, and likely using the Beauty spell to ensure that she is in little danger.

I chose blue for the dress because it would complement the dark blue worn by my Illusionist under his cloak. I don't actually think any other colour would have worked for her. A warmer colour would have made her look stronger rather than 'cold stray' that I wanted to illustrate.
